« Likewise the heart has [within it] another heart, which is the position from which the servant stands before his Master without being agitated or busied by anything, but in a state of tranquil repose in Him (sākin ilayhi). His words, Exalted is He: [22:46] …Indeed, it is not the eyes that become blind, but it is their hearts that become blind within the breasts. He said: Is it not true that with the light of the heart’s insight (nūr baṣar al-qalb) a person can overcome desire and lust?
