« 2 The second part of the twofold attestation of faith, after the profession of the divine Unity, ‘I bear witness that there is no god save God (lā ilāha illā’Llāh)’, is the following: ‘I bear witness that Muḥammad is the Messenger of God’. The second part of the twofold attestation of faith (shahādatayn), is likewise recited during the call to prayer (adhān). 3 As well as believing in the other prophets.
